Ideas that add value

At the centre of our proposition to clients is our focus on continually generating and delivering innovative ideas. Ideas that add real, measurable value. Whether research ideas or trading ideas, we recognise that ideas are our stock-in-trade.

While we see ourselves as partners to our clients, our position as outsiders to the daily activities of their businesses gives us the opportunity to stand back and ask questions. Questions like 'what if', 'how about', and 'why not'? Questions that generate possibility.

Outsourced, independent, unique

Noah's research offering is primarily focused on identifying market opportunities and providing performance-enhancing investment ideas and themes.

We offer an independent, outsourced model because this allows us to remain flexible and provide tactical research insights to our clients that are unique and complement their in-house research efforts.

We undertake research through a global network of independent specialists in various market disciplines, covering the majority of equity sectors and industries of companies listed on the JSE Securities Exchange. We call this network ARC - Associated Research Consultants.

We initiate research ideas in order to provide greater insight on under-researched areas, and conduct bespoke research in specific areas of insight to our clients.

Benefits

Because research is sourced from independent experts, the risk of conflict of interest - either in content or motivation - is eliminated.

Furthermore, we've found that research-on-demand is cost-effective, both for our clients and for Noah, and our research topics and ideas are consistently relevant and practical from an execution standpoint.
